volunteer Marketing manager
Are you passionate about sustainability, creativity, and making a difference? The Zero Waste Berlin Festival is looking for a Volunteer Marketing Manager to support our mission of building a greener, more sustainable future.
What you’ll do (5–10 hours per week):
- Manage our social media channels and grow community engagement
- Create and share inspiring, creative content
- Use your graphic design and video editing skills to bring ideas to life
- Support with marketing campaigns and storytelling around sustainability and our events
What we’re looking for:
- Creative thinker with a passion for sustainability
- Strong graphic and video editing skills
- Experience in social media management (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Website Management skills.
- Good command of English and German (written & spoken)
- A proactive, team-oriented person ready to contribute ideas

volunteer event manager & organiser
Do you have a talent for organisation and love making things run smoothly? The Zero Waste Berlin Festival is looking for a passionate Volunteer Event Manager & Organiser to help us bring our sustainable vision to life.
Your role (5–10 hours per week):
- Support with event organisation and logistics
- Coordinate schedules, vendors, and partners
- Assist in planning and running the event’s activities
- Ensure smooth operations during the event days
What we’re looking for:
- Strong organisational and logistical skills
- Experience in event management/coordination is a plus
- Team player with a proactive problem-solving attitude
- Good communication in English (German is a big plus)
- Passion for sustainability and community projects

volunteer event manager & organiser
re you passionate about storytelling through visuals? The Zero Waste Berlin Festival is looking for a creative Photographer / Videographer (Volunteer) to capture the energy, people, and ideas that make our event so special.
Your role (during and around the festival):
- Document the festival’s activities, speakers, workshops, and community moments
- Create photos and videos that can be used across our social media and promotional materials
-Capture the essence of our sustainability mission in an inspiring way
What we’re looking for:
- Basic to professional photography/videography skills
- Own camera and editing software is a big plus
- Creative eye and ability to work in dynamic event environments
- Good communication in English
- Enthusiasm for sustainability and visual storytelling
