WHAT IS POSITIVE PLANET KINO

Positive Planet Kino is a film event dedicated to presenting short films, documentaries, and feature films that approach climate change, sustainability, and related topics through a distinctly positive lens. Rather than focusing solely on crisis and catastrophe, this platform seeks to offer an alternative narrative, one that celebrates human creativity, resilience, and the transformative potential of collective action.

By showcasing stories of innovation, community empowerment, and environmental regeneration, we aim to reframe how audiences perceive the future of our planet. Through Positive Planet Kino, we invite filmmakers to challenge the dominant narrative of fear and despair, and instead craft stories that inspire, uplift, and open up space for imagination and hope.

We believe that by amplifying positive storytelling, we can spark meaningful conversations, shift perspectives, and ultimately encourage a more hopeful and action-oriented engagement with climate issues.com/config/pages
